Okay, Greeks, it's time to spill. I know everyone went through the same process as ZD this past weekend and I'm not about to twiddle my thumbs and wait for the Echo to give me information (that will probably be false anyway). Where do we stand as far as executive boards? Because I'll be damned if I don't have one of the best presidencies on record in Eolas and ZD history, and I have a feeling a lot of you others in charge of your own sororities/frats will feel the same way about this.

Feel free to use this as an open discussion place for any events, mixers, formals, community service, etc sorts of activities that YOU'D like to see and what we can do to work together to make these things happen. Or throw up a hex if you think it'd be better kept secret, I don't mind.

Now, if y'all will excuse me, I am going to get to work on some personal things while I wait for my very handsome boyfriend to sneak me off for a tour of his new home town (not that this is a hint or anything, Dave).

Wow, what a week! With finals done for me, and everything winding down I feel like I should be doing the same but here I am, writing lesson plans and preparing myself for what is shaping up to be a fantastic summer.

I just received an owl from one of my professors. We've been working all semester for a few internship spots for summer school and because of my grades and the "great promise I've shown over the past two years," I've been accepted to the internship program! I will be a summer school teacher in Ireland, working with children that would be considered Reception and Year 1 aged for next school year (so the 4 and 5 year olds, as it were). It's an open enrollment option for wizarding parents who either use the DoM sponsored teachers for their children, as well as parents who have homeschooled during the school year and want some social experience and enrichment for their children over the summer months.

So between that, the official welcoming of our new Zeta Delta sisters, and attending a fantastic banquet it's been one hell of a week. Congratulations to everyone who won an award, by the by. I'm proud of you especially, Dave. You worked your ass off to earn it, for sure.

Oh honey, that ain't right...If I were to have any sort of surgery, I can assure y'all it would be a reduction rather than an augmentation. But thanks for worrying about the size of my chest. Glad to know I've got pals over here in the UK lookin' out for my best interest.

The Echo obviously doesn't know the first thing about the rules of being a Southern belle, and believe me, there are Rules with a capital R. It's a time honored tradition passed down from mother to daughter, and put into practice starting at your cotillion and ending on the day you die. My granny would be rollin' over in her grave if she'd seen this. Everyone knows that a lady never reveals a multitude of numbers; age, weight, and chest size included.

It's a shame that they can't find decent, proper material. But I think it's well established that the Echo is a joke of a newspaper that has a chimpanzee for a fact checker. The amount of lies it publishes would be enough to produce a blush on a politician, and we all know how difficult that is to accomplish.

Jiminy Christmas.

I'm terribly glad to be on break. And home, to catch up with friends and family and just let things slow down. Spending time with my grammy and my parents and pretending my professors didn't give me a stack of work to do during all this "free time" the university has granted us. Have fun, be safe, I don't want to have to chase y'all down next week if you don't return in one piece.

Close Friends
So I think I'm avoiding it. They offered us the chance to view the memories but I don't think I want to. Is that wrong? I've been trying to move on and not even think about it and I feel like I'm in a good place. And I don't want to risk that.

ZD Sisters
Especially since things are going so well with Dave, for those of you keeping score (which I think is most of you from how often you gawk).

Dave
So, some of my friends from here are having a bonfire this weekend. It should be a lot of fun, and you could see how a real Southern party functions. Just a thought. No pressure.

I was going to write something, but can't even come up with something worthwhile to say. I hope everyone enjoyed their dates--or are looking forward to them.

You were obviously robbed on the pitch today, Dave. But there were a few good hits in there, so ace on that!

And to everyone who played: it was a fantastic match. Almost as much excitement as a Crimson Tide game back home. Y'all know how to bring it, that's for sure.

I feel about as useful as a trap door on a canoe. Everything aches and I'm tired. For anyone hoping I've got answers, that dog won't hunt. Don't remember a damn thing.

Fixin' to rest up now. Y'all stay safe. No sense in vistin' me and getting hurt in the process.

This is just a reminder for all of our new turtles: we're having a little sister/big sister dinner party tomorrow night! Can't wait to spend time getting to know all of the newest Zeta Deltas!

Oh boo! That package was from Momma and Popsicle. They sent another letter today asking if I'd received the first one. I told them I loved it, of course, and thanked them. Momma suspects that the note was misplaced in the shuffle.

Ah well, there's still love in the air, Eolas! Just you wait.

Finals week is upon us. Utter bullocks. I'm so tired of making these blasted lesson supplements that I doubt I will ever use in a bloody classroom...

You are cordially invited to dine with the sisters of Zeta Delta. 7 pm sharp Thursday. Make sure to dress properly and arrive promptly.

This is a pre-rush event, so keep that in mind. You'll be able to meet the girls and get a feel for how things are at the house.

You're welcome [/Peyton & Felicity]

My oh my, how time does fly. I feel like some of the previous arrangements that have been made are looming ever so close on me. It's crunch time, ladies and gentlemen. I'm quite certain, however, that things will work out to my favor.

Also, to anyone who may have found a lovely sapphire ring on the second floor of the library, I would hope that honesty prevails and that it is returned to its rightful owner.

Zeta Delta is hosting a rather brilliant house party in November. I can't divulge all the details at the present, but as house secretary, I must say that it's going to be the talk of the town. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open, everyone.
